Minthe Hellheim does not know where she comes from or who her parents are. She spent her childhood in institutions. Tormented by recurring nightmares, she struggles through life with odd jobs. A new beginning is within her grasp when she receives an unusual offer. She is to restore an old mill in the town of her birth.
